SELECTION PROCESS

A small multidisciplinary panel made up of 2 patients and 3 local artists (photographer, painter, writer), has been assembled to review the submissions.  The names of the panel members will only be revealed at the finale event on October 25th.  None of the panelelists are employees of the Ottawa Fertility Centre.

The panel will review submissions between October 1 and October 8 and will select the top 10 submissions in each category.

Seletion will not be based solely on technical or artistic skill alone, but on the sentiment conveyed through the work that is reflective of the theme and spirit of the competition - expressions of infertility.

The 10 frinalists will be highlighted on this web site by or around October 11th.   The public will be able to view and comment on submissions between October 11tha nd October 24th.  Awards will be announced at a finale event on October 25th in Ottawa.
